# Specifiability > Specifiability is where enterprise software is specified before it is built. > The specification-of-record and quality layer for the age of AI agents. Software is increasingly written by agents. The agents are good and getting better quickly. What they need from us — what humans used to provide quietly through proximity and shared context — is a clear specification of what should be built and why. Specifiability is the platform that lets enterprise R&D organisations specify, govern, and verify what gets built in the age of AI agents. A single coherent artifact where features, design, components, and acceptance criteria live together; where decisions made in the room are absorbed into the record; where disagreements surface before code is written. Founded and led by Robert Kristiansen. Based in Europe. Working with a small number of founding design partners, and quiet on purpose. ## Primary documents - [Manifesto (homepage)](https://specifiability.ai/): The specification of record, for the age of agents. - [Founding story](https://specifiability.ai/founding-story): The morning in Bangalore, and what came after — by Robert Kristiansen, Oslo, 1 May 2026. - [Before Paris (a short story)](https://specifiability.ai/before-paris): The morning a specification was missed — by Voss, 2nd May 2026. ## For agents - [Agent mirror (HTML)](https://specifiability.ai/agent): All site content on a single readable page. - [Full text (plain)](https://specifiability.ai/llms-full.txt): All site content as plain text for ingestion. ## Contact - hello@specifiability.com
